The Pelvic Floor- can this be addressed through Tupler Technique® and Dolphin Neurostim MPS ? Yes!
Things we can address:
*Prolapse- Bowel, Bladder and/or Uterine
*Hypertonic pelvic floor (tight)
*Hypotonic pelvic floor (loose)
*Pelvic floor scars
*Pelvic Floor Traumas
*Menstrual irregularities
*Incontinence
*Vaginal Pain (Vaginismus)
How are these treated?
We use the Dolphin MPS Neurostim is a non-invasive technique which uses microcurrents on specific acupoints on the body to release scars, tonify certain organs including the vagus nerve, calm the nervous system down, reconnect the body electrically, release deep tissue fascia of the pelvic floor as well as the more shallow areas of the fascia. It is NOT a tens unit, which can put patients into a stress mode. This works with the autonomic nervous system (ANS). We do lower spinal acupoints as well as that are directly connected to the pelvic floor and pelvic organs. We will also do Scar Release Technique which helps tonify the vagus nerve on any other midline scars for this technique as it directly impacts the pelvic floor.
This combined with the Tupler Technique® is a very comprehensive holistic NON-invasive approach to helping the pelvic floor, with often unaddressed issues that other pelvic floor strategies miss.
Can this help you? Are you?
*Presurgical – leaning towards surgery
*Postsurgical – recent surgery to old surgeries regarding pelvic floor. These include prolapse surgeries, hysterectomies, any other pelvic floor surgeries.
*Incontinent/ Experience Pelvic Floor Weakness – Do you pee on your shoes when you laugh/sneeze/cough or do you feel a general sense of pelvic floor weakness?
*Experiencing Trauma Induced Pelvic Floor Issues – This includes sexual abuse or other traumas. This technique can gently help release the traumas from the pelvic floor in a noninvasive way, and reconnect the nervous system to help clients go back into their parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) rather than in the fight and flight mode. There are answers for you!
Why is this important to address?
The pelvic floor is a vital part of feeling whole, and these techniques can assist in helping to reverse prolapse, and include also some very targeted exercises after treatment. In additional we use relaxing strategies, techniques, and vagal nerve stimulation therapy to calm the nervous system down so we can address pelvic floor.
I am Pelvic Floor Certified with Dolphin MPS Neurostim and look forward to helping my clients who have experienced such complex and nuanced pelvic floor issues who have had difficulty finding help! There are holistic and effective answers and options I am excited to finally offer an alternative to traditional methods that often lead to to surgery and unwanted outcomes.
